DAMNations 25 RG is Fast Approaching The 25th Dayton Area Mensa Regional Gathering is scheduled for March 30 through April 1, 2012. As in years past, the 2012 Dayton Area Mensa Regional Gathering will be held at the Dayton Grand Hotel (formerly the Doubletree Dayton), 11 South Ludlow Street. Mensa was founded in England in 1946 by Roland Berrill, a barrister, and Dr. Lance Ware, a scientist and lawyer. The original aims were, as they are today, to create a society that is non-political and free from all racial or religious distinctions. Dayton Area Mensa (DAM) serves an area that includes Clark, Greene, Miami, Montgomery, Preble, and Warren counties, and portions of Butler and Shelby counties. It is governed by a Steering Committee of elected volunteers that meets monthly, generally on the first Wednesday of the month. Read more…► |
